Wanted: At Least 72% of Larger Businesses to Submit Pay Data (1)

At least 72.7% of all larger employers must submit wage-and-hour data to the EEOC for the agency to meet a court deadline for a first-time pay data collection by Sept. 30, the EEOC said.

The pay data collection has been controversial, as employers have spoken out against it, calling it too burdensome, while pay equity advocates have said it’s a step in the right direction to address systemic pay gaps.
