A group of female workers who allege Walmart Stores Inc. didn’t treat them the same as other workers needing job accommodations for lifting and other physical restrictions have agreed to settle their proposed class lawsuit for $14 million.

The agreement would provide relief to about 11,000 employees in two separate settlement classes, if approved by the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, Talisa Borders and two other named plaintiffs said in a motion filed Oct. 15 seeking preliminary approval of the pact.
