Walmart Slips EEOC Suit Alleging Mistreatment of Deaf Workers

A federal judge tossed out of court an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission lawsuit charging Walmart with failing to accommodate a pair of deaf workers in the District of Columbia.

Stopping employers from discriminating against employees or job applicants with hearing difficulties has long been a litigation focus of the federal enforcement agency.
