Walmart Denied Second Look, Early Appeal in Job Coach Case (1)

A second federal judge has rejected Walmart‘s argument that a trial isn’t necessary to determine whether it violated a deaf cart pusher’s job rights when it questioned his need for a permanent job coach 17 years into his employment.

The retail giant repeated the same arguments it made in an earlier motion for summary judgment seeking to end a September 2017 lawsuit by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission on behalf of Paul Reina, U.S. District Court for the District of Wisconsin said March 14.
