Wage-Hour Veteran Rehired as DOL Agency Fights Attrition (2)

The Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division has rehired Patricia Davidson as deputy administrator after she left late in the Trump administration for a different DOL subagency, adding institutional knowledge to a unit that’s suffered from personnel attrition.

Davidson, formerly the most senior career official at WHD—which enforces minimum wage, overtime, child labor, and family leave laws—transferred in 2020 to serve as deputy director of the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs. Her move back to WHD was posted on the agency’s online organizational chart Monday.
