Volkswagen Union Contest Goes Back to Labor Board

A closely watched union election dispute over the size of a voting unit at a Tennessee auto plant is back at the National Labor Relations Board courtesy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.

The court’s action will probably lead to a new NLRB ruling that makes it more difficult for the United Auto Workers to win bargaining rights at Volkswagen Group of America’s Chattanooga, Tenn., plant.
