Virgin America Break Case Should Stay Out of High Court: US (1)

A case over whether airlines must follow a California meal-and-rest-break law is not ripe for high court review at all, or at least should return to the lower court to reexamine issues related to when federal law controls, the US Solicitor General told the US Supreme Court.

The justices had requested that the Biden administration weigh in on the case, which presents a clash between federal and state law.
