USDA Scientists Seek Action by Congress to Stop Relocation (1)

Senators should include language in their fiscal 2020 Agriculture-FDA spending bill to block the Agriculture Department from moving hundreds of researchers in the coming months from the Washington area to Kansas City, the union representing the employees says.

“We need to be pressing our contacts to petition on our behalf to Congress,” union steward Laura Dodson said in an email provided to Bloomberg Government. “Please continue to let people know that this only stops if we come together to make it stop.”
