UPS Breaches Religious Rights, EEOC Suit Claims

United Parcel Service Inc. is violating Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by not accommodating job applicants and employees who wear beards or decline to cut their hair for religious reasons, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission alleged in a lawsuit filed July 15 (EEOC v. United Parcel Serv., Inc., E.D.N.Y., 15-4141, complaint filed 7/15/15).
