Union Targets Spectrum Customers as 20-Month Strike Escalates

A union local representing 1,800 Spectrum workers is going after the company’s customers after contract negotiations reached a new impasse.

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3 is launching a digital ad campaign urging customers to “cut the cord on Spectrum.” Online ad buys worth tens of thousands of dollars will target customers in zip codes served primarily by the company, which is a brand of Charter Communications, according to a union official.
