UAW Seeks ‘Truth’ Through NLRB Hearing
On VW Election, Subpoenas 24 Witnesses

The United Auto Workers, seeking “to determine the truth about third-party interference” in the union’s failed bid to represent workers at the Volkswagen plant in Chattanooga, Tenn., has subpoenaed 24 witnesses to testify at a National Labor Relations Board hearing April 21 on the union’s appeal of the election results.

The UAW has urged the NLRB to set aside the election results and conduct another secret-ballot election.
