Former NFL players Antwan Odom and Darrell Reid pleaded guilty Tuesday in the Eastern District of Kentucky for their role in a scheme to defraud a health-care program for retired players just days before three other defendants are set to go to trial, bringing the total number of ex-players who have settled the charges to nine.
Reid played for the Indianapolis Colts and the Denver Broncos, while Odom played for the Tennessee Titans and the Cincinnati Bengals. Both retired in 2010.
