Trump Taps Robb for Labor Board General Counsel

President Donald Trump Sept. 15 announced his intent to nominate Peter Robb to serve as the National Labor Relations Board’s general counsel.

Robb’s nomination has been expected since early last month. Robb is a management-side employment attorney at Downs Rachlin Martin in Vermont, where he works as the director of labor and employment.

Bloomberg BNA previously reported that Robb has worked aggressively with anti-union persuaders to help employers avoid labor organizing—a track record that’s raising some concern among worker advocates.
