President Donald Trump is “going to take a good hard look over the weekend” at the issue of federal worker pay, he said at an event in Charlotte, N.C.
The remarks come a day after the president sent a letter to Congress indicating he “determined that for 2019, both across-the-board pay increases and locality pay increases will be set at zero.”
Trump is in Charlotte to sign an executive order directing his administration to make it easier for small businesses to band together to set up retirement-savings plans.
