Trump Renominates Picks for Labor Posts, EEOC

President Donald Trump Jan. 16 renominated a slew of picks for administration leadership posts, including at the Labor Department and Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

Trump again tapped South Carolina attorney Cheryl Stanton to run the DOL’s wage and hour enforcement shop and economist William Beach to head the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He also renominated former FedEx official Scott Mugno to lead the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

The president renominated Janet Dhillon to chair the EEOC and Sharon Fast Gustafson to serve as the agency’s general counsel.

The announcements come as vacancies have hobbled the Labor Department and EEOC...
