Travel Company Pays $925,000 to End Disability, Harassment Suits

Entertainment Benefits Group LLC will pay $925,000 and update its training and other policies to resolve workplace disability bias and sexual harassment allegations by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The EEOC charged in one lawsuit that the e-commerce travel and entertainment company engaged in discrimination against a class of workers based on their actual or perceived disability or close association with an individual with a disability. Those actions included failing to reasonably accommodate some workers and subjecting others to an inflexible maximum leave policy.

A separate suit alleged a class of workers was subjected to a sexually hostile work environment....
