Tenth Circuit Asked If ‘Older’ Women Separately Protected on Job

Working women who are age 40 and over are protected from discriminatory employment practices that favor older men or younger women, a group of fired Colorado casino employees will tell the Tenth Circuit Nov. 20.

At issue is whether Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act permits workers to pursue “sex plus age” bias claims.
