Teen Worker Proposal Nabs Complaint

Opponents to the Labor Department’s rule to ease restrictions for teenage workers in health-care settings continue to pile on against the proposal. The DOL is already being investigated by the Office of the Inspector General over its rulemaking process for this and other proposed regulations.

  • Complaint Filed: Worker advocates and the country’s largest health-care union filed a complaint with the Labor Department and the OMB alleging the department violated the Information Quality Act with its patient lift rulemaking process.
