The National Labor Relations Board has seen a spike in new cases over the past six months, even as the agency’s top lawyer says it needs a cash injection from Congress to fulfill its mission.
Union election petitions jumped by 57% in the first half of fiscal year 2021 compared to the previous six months, the NLRB announced Wednesday. Unfair labor practice charges have increased by 14% during that period.
