States of Work: New Mexico Limits Criminal History Queries

This week’s “States of Work” looks at a new law in New Mexico that limits questions about criminal history on job applications, as well as a push by Democrats in Vermont for a mandatory paid family leave proposal that doesn’t quite match up with the Republican governor’s voluntary paid leave plan.
