SkyWest Loses Bid for New Trial in Bias, Retaliation Case

SkyWest Airlines can’t have a new trial after a jury said it violated the Americans with Disabilities Act by discriminating and retaliating against a former employee with kidney disease.

The July 19 decision from the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado lets stand a jury award of $307,992 in front pay to the one-time Skywest nighttime shift manager, John Hayes.
