Shake Shack, Pregnant Worker Settle Sex Bias, Retaliation Suit

A Manhattan Shake Shack restaurant and a female employee, who said she was mistreated and fired when she revealed her pregnancy about a month after starting the job, have settled their lawsuit, federal court records show.

Judge Paul A. Engelmayer of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York entered an order Monday dismissing Dawashia Farmer’s remaining claims against Shake Shack Enterprises LLC, Shake Shack 152 E 86 LLC, and several individual defendants.
