SAG-AFTRA Launches Strike Against Video Game Industry

SAG-AFTRA, which represents actors, announcers and other performers, launched a strike against Activision Publishing Inc., Electronics Arts Productions Inc. and other top video game producers .

The strike announcement came after a series of negotiations with the video game industry that began in February 2015 and continued through Oct. 19 “with little to no progress,” according to the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
