Public Input Sought on Trump ‘Anti-American’ Training Order (2)

The public can now weigh in on forms of workplace training that involve “stereotyping or scapegoating” based on race or sex following a recent executive order that’s sparked blowback from several business groups.

President Donald Trump late last month banned federal contractors from conducting “offensive and Anti-American” training, including programs that suggest a worker could be “inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, whether consciously or unconsciously.”

The Labor Department’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs, which polices workplace nondiscrimination laws among federal contractors, released a request for information Wednesday as it works to enforce Trump’s order. The deadline for feedback is ...
