Power Equipment Supplier’s Ex-VP of Sales Must Face Secrets Suit

Switchboard Apparatus Inc., which designs and supplies custom electrical equipment for large private, government, and hospital facilities, has adequately alleged claims against a former vice president for sales for misappropriating trade secrets and breaching a duty of loyalty, a federal court in Illinois ruled.

The executive, Shane Wolfram, allegedly left SAI during the bidding process for three major contracts and then scooped the jobs up for his new employer, according to the court.
