PMA Seeks to Enforce Arbitration Rulings
In California Longshore Work Stoppages

SAN FRANCISCO—The Pacific Maritime Association is asking federal courts in San Francisco and Sacramento, Calif., to enforce arbitration orders over walkouts by International Longshore and Warehouse Union members at Northern California ports (Pacific Mar. Ass’n v. ILWU Local 10; Pacific Mar. Ass’n v. ILWU Local 54).

ILWU Local 10 members in Oakland, Calif., engaged in a one-day work stoppage April 4 held in solidarity with Wisconsin workers.
