Pennsylvania’s overtime and minimum-wage exemption requirements for white-collar employees would be changed to increase the salary threshold under a proposal that is expected to be issued as final rulemaking in the fall, the state bulletin said Aug. 10, 2019.
The minimum salary level to qualify for the state’s executive, administrative, and professional exemptions would rise under the proposed regulations to $610 a week from $250 a week, effective the day the final rule is published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin (49 Pa. Bulletin 4181).
The threshold would be $766 a week
