Oregon Distillery Workers Win Injunction in Bargaining Dispute

Manufacturing and production employees at Hood River Distillers Inc. who engaged in a strike against unfair labor practices won reinstatement as part of an injunction against their Oregon-based employer.

Teamsters Local 670, which represents the employees, filed three complaints against Hood River with Region 19 of the National Labor Relations Board in 2020. Hood River failed to bargain in good faith, illegally declared an impasse, and then unilaterally implemented new contract terms in May 2020, the union said.
