Novel Health Plans Covering ‘Partners’ to Be Weighed by 5th Cir.

Litigation over the legal status of health plans covering 50,000 people who’ve agreed to have their data tracked will go to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, after the Department of Labor appealed a ruling blessing the plans as covered by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.
