The National Labor Relations Board filled nine senior leadership vacancies at regional offices, taking a significant step to address top-level personnel gaps that agency watchers have said hampers labor law enforcement and union election processing.
The NLRB Monday elevated four staffers to assistant to the regional director positions and another five to regional attorney slots. All of the promoted officials have been with the agency for at least a decade.
