NLRB Dumps Trump-Era Western Region Reorganization Plan (1)

The National Labor Relations Board has scrapped a contentious Trump administration program that reorganized certain case-handling and supervisory functions for seven Western regional offices.

The NLRB confirmed that it’s ending the program, but didn’t provide a specific rationale for doing so. The agency is “in the process of reassessing the other operational actions of the past administration,” an NLRB spokesman said Friday.

The Western region program centralized case assignment across the seven offices. The agency will, however, continue informally sharing resources through other programs, an NLRB official said in an email obtained by Bloomberg Law.
