The National Labor Relations Board has launched a task force to make agency operations decisions in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
The “special internal coronavirus task force” and the agency’s Operations-Management division will decide whether to permit labor board attorneys, investigators, and other staffers in Washington, D.C., and 26 regional offices to work outside of their assigned offices in relation to the pandemic, according to an agency spokesman and internal emails obtained by Bloomberg Law. NLRB Chairman John Ring (R) and General Counsel Peter Robb established the group “to lead the Agency’s response” to the coronavirus.
