New Labor Board Counsel Replaces Second-in-Command

The National Labor Relations Board’s new top prosecutor has begun reshuffling senior staff in his office, which functions as the board’s chief enforcement arm.

Peter Robb, a Trump appointee, named John W. Kyle his deputy general counsel early in the new year. Kyle replaces Jennifer Abruzzo, who served in the same role during the Obama administration.

Kyle began his career as an Equal Opportunity Specialist with the Department of Defense, and later joined the Federal Labor Relations Authority (FLRA) as a field attorney. He also served as counsel and senior counsel to former board member Robert Hunter from 1983 to ...
