Minnesota Adopts Federal Covid Shot-or-Test Employer Mandate

Minnesota on Monday became the first state to announce it had adopted federal OSHA’s Covid-19 shot or weekly testing emergency standard for employers with 100 or more workers.

The Minnesota Occupational Safety and Health Administration in a written statement said it won’t issue citations before Jan. 10 and won’t issue citations for noncompliance with the standard’s testing requirements prior to Feb. 9 if the employer is “exercising reasonable, good faith efforts” to comply.
