McDonald’s Sued by Employee for Violating California Wage Law

McDonald’s Restaurants of California Inc. is facing allegations that it failed to ensure its workers in that state received accurate wage statements reflecting their correct pay rates and hours worked in a new proposed class action filed in a federal court in Fresno.

Gennifer Manzo, who worked as a shift manager at a McDonald’s location in Clovis, Calif., seeks to represent a class of other similarly situated current and former employees under California’s Labor Code and Private Attorneys General Act.

The lawsuit was filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California.
