McDonald’s $2 Million Wage Settlement Rejected by Federal Judge

McDonald’s Restaurants of California Inc. agreed to pay $2 million to more than 5,500 workers in a California class action over inaccurate wage statements, but a federal judge wants more information about the class settlement before approving it.

The proposed deal states that each class member will receive a “proportionate share” of the net settlement, about $1.88 million, and the $100,000 in penalties provided for under California’s Private Attorneys General Act.
