More than 170 editorial staffers at Law360, a subsidiary of LexisNexis, reached a tentative agreement on Dec. 5, a NewsGuild of New York spokesman told Bloomberg Law.
The contract is pending ratification by the union members, NewsGuild spokesman Josh Austin said. Details of the contract weren’t immediately available.
The legal news outlet voted to unionize two years ago, choosing to affiliate with the NewsGuild of New York in August 2016.
The union voted to authorize a strike on Oct. 24, but the staffers ultimately did not walk out of work before the tentative agreement was reached.
The company didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
