Landscapers to Face Government Scrutiny Over Visa Usage (1)

The landscaping industry is the second to be targeted by the Labor Department as part of an initiative to improve compliance with temporary visa program rules.

The initiative focusing on the H-2B seasonal foreign worker program combines information and compliance assistance with government investigations of employers that hire workers on the visas. It follows a similar initiative aimed at the hotel industry that was launched last week.
