Labor Disputes to Be Processed Faster Under New NLRB Plan (1)

The NLRB is aiming for a 20 percent reduction by 2022 in the time it typically takes to give a decision in workplace disputes between employers and workers, according to an agency strategic plan released Dec. 7.

National Labor Relations Board General Counsel Peter Robb directed the board’s roughly 26 regional offices to put in place new protocols that will reduce the time between receiving a charge and disposing of a case by 5 percent in each of the next four years.
