NLRB Requires Telework After Employee Coronavirus Contact (1)

The National Labor Relations Board is implementing a temporary telework policy for employees at its headquarters in Washington, D.C., after a worker had “close contact” with someone who tested positive for coronavirus.

The precautionary policy, which takes effect Thursday afternoon, applies to “employees working at several floors” of the agency’s main offices, the NLRB said in an announcement. Those employees will work remotely through at least March 16. The move may be extended depending on circumstances, the agency said.
