Koneksa Health Inc.'s former general counsel fell short in his allegations that the company discriminated against him based on age and fired him for raising concerns about the harassment another employee purportedly faced.
The ex-counsel adequately alleged the health technology company underpaid its oldest employees, but he didn’t “show that his compensation would be set higher but for age-related discrimination,” the US District Court for the Southern District of New York said Wednesday. The court nixed his federal claim and declined to exercise supplemental jurisdiction over his state-law claims.
