Koch Foods Pays $15.5 Million in Antitrust Case on Farmer Wages

Koch Foods Inc. affiliates will pay $15.5 million to exit antitrust litigation over an alleged scheme by top poultry processors to drive down pay for chicken farmers, according to federal court filings in Muskogee, Okla.

The settlement, docketed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, is the third in the case to date, after a $21 million agreement with Tyson Foods Inc. and a $14.75 million pact with Perdue Farms LLC. Judge Robert J. Shelby signed off on the earlier deals in February.
