Judges on the Fifth Circuit clashed Monday as they withdrew an opinion in a labor case and issued a new one, again finding that the manager of offshore oil rig workers for Helix Solutions Group should get another shot at a lawsuit seeking overtime pay compensation.
The Monday opinion, though, revealed tensions between judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, who sniped at each other in a concurrence and dissent even as the new opinion largely maintained the earlier ruling.
