Houston Casualty Co. is off the hook for providing coverage to a policyholder that was sued by job applicants who claimed the policyholder violated Washington state law by not including salary ranges on job postings.
The underlying suit didn’t trigger a “wrongful act” as defined by Houston Casualtys employment practices liability policy issued to Casal Enterprises Inc., Judge Richard A. Jones of the US District Court for the Western District of Washington ruled.
