Hewlett Packard Defeats Ex-Worker’s Vacation Pay, Bonus Claims

A Hewlett Packard Enterprise Co. employee isn’t entitled to recover vacation pay or a bonus he claimed he was owed when he resigned from the company, the First Circuit said.

Matthew White’s employment contract stipulated that he would lose any unused vacation time when he left the company, and under Maine law he was only entitled to what was provided in the contract, the court said in an opinion by Judge Sandra L. Lynch.
