Health Advocates Demand Access to Company Injury, Illness Data (1)

Federal safety regulators’ decision to not fully enforce an Obama administration rule requiring large employers to provide them with detailed injury and illness information is facing a court challenge from health organizations.

Public Citizen Health Research Group and two other health advocacy associations filed a lawsuit July 25, asking a federal judge to issue a permanent injunction requiring the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to compel employers to hand over all the information required by the electronic record-keeping rule.
