United Auto Workers members who work for Fiat Chrysler will try to convince a federal appeals court to revive their lawsuit targeting the union and carmaker for the corruption scandal that has landed eight officials in prison.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Cincinnati is set to hear oral argument Aug. 8 to decide whether the workers met their procedural burdens to sue the UAW and Fiat.
