Feds Want Lawsuit Over Stalled Pay Data Collection Thrown Out

The Office of Management and Budget has the right to stop the EEOC from collecting employers’ pay data, the OMB said in a Feb. 13 motion urging that a case by pay equity advocates be tossed.pa

The National Women’s Law Center and the Labor Council for Latin American Advancement filed the lawsuit Nov. 15 against the OMB and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

The plaintiffs filed the lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia (Nat’l Women’s Law Center, D.D.C., No. 1:17-cv-02458, complaint filed 11/15/17).
