Federal Contractors May Get a Shot at Three-Year Bias Audit Pass

Federal contractors could get a three-year reprieve from Labor Department audits if they’re the winners of a proposed award aimed at recognizing best practices in workplace inclusion, nondiscrimination, and pay fairness.

The Oct. 19 proposal comes two weeks after the DOL’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs announced plans for a separate award program that would give a two-year break in audits to contractors that make it a top priority to hire and retain individuals with disabilities.
