Equinox Personal Trainer Sues Over Alleged Wage Violations

A personal trainer in New York City accuses Equinox Holdings Inc. of intentionally underpaying more than 3,000 employees across the country, according to federal court filings.

Equinox “creates an erratic schedule of paid work” that’s purposely designed to keep employees in the clubs and out on the gym floors to obtain new clients for training sessions, which generate enormous revenue, but fails to pay them for all hours worked, the lawsuit claims.
